Sustainable Agriculture Summit & Awards 2024 Nurturing a Greener tomorrow for Viksit Bharat.

 I. Introduction

To unite the key players in India's agriculture ecosystem—farmers, industry leaders, policymakers, scientists, academic institutions, equipment providers, thought leaders, and development organizations India’s premier agricultural media platform, Agriculture Post, in collaboration with IndiAgri, organized the "Sustainable Agriculture Summit & Awards, 2024: Nurturing a Greener Tomorrow for Viksit Bharat." Held at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi on August 7, 2024, the event was a significant milestone in promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

The Summit featured distinguished guests, including:

Shri Ramdas Athawale, Hon. Minister of State, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India

❖ Shri Sanjay Kumar Jha, Hon. Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha

The event brought together over 30 eminent speakers and 150 delegates from diverse sectors, encompassing the agriculture industry, policymaking bodies, academia, and the farming community. This diverse assembly engaged in a meaningful dialogue and collaboration, aiming to accelerate the adoption of sustainable agriculture in India.

During the Sustainable Agriculture Summit & Awards, more than 50 awards were presented across 20 categoriesrecognizing outstanding contributions from farmers, agricultural universities, researchers, think tanks, startups, and agribusiness companies.

  5. Sustainable Farming Practices: Carving a Roadmap for the Future of Agriculture

  6. Farming for Profit: Connecting Farms to Fair Markets.

Each session provided a platform for in-depth discussions and the exchange of innovative ideas, contributing to the vision of a greener, self-reliant India.

III.A Media Coverage

The summit garnered extensive coverage from national and international media across print, digital, and television platforms. The media spotlighted the summit's key themes, the prestigious awards presented, and the invaluable contributions of sponsors and knowledge partners who supported the event both financially and academically.

This widespread attention highlights the significance of the summit in advancing sustainable agriculture and highlighted the collaborative efforts that made it a success.

The Sustainable Agriculture Summit & Awards 2024 received widespread media coverage, garnering attention from India's top news agencies like ANI and UNI, as well as prominent national publications including Hindustan, Prabhat Khabar, Dainik Bhaskar, and The Print. Regional outlets such as Odisha Today, Assam Tribune, Gujarat Samachar, and Lokmat Times also extensively covered the event, reflecting its significance across the country.
